I, Robot

I, Robot - Isaac Asimov "I've started reading my Asimov collection in chronological order and I just finished I, Robot. It's amazing how well it held up for me. He was my favorite when I was a kid. Of course that was before smartphones and 3-D printers. Asimov wasn't great at predicting how computers would evolve and in the stories in this collection he talks about four Positronic ""brains"" making all major decisions for the entire planet. A quaint concept these days, but I found the nostalgia value of these stories makes it easy for me to overlook his lack of technological foresight. If you have only read the foundation stories I would recommend I, Robot. Speaking of Foundation, I'm starting it tonight.
